Within the scope of the 38th Session of the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (CMW), various meetings were held in Geneva within the framework of the “Second Periodic Report of Türkiye”. The aforementioned meetings were attended by our Deputy Chair, Atty. Alişan Tiryaki, our Board Members Dr. Burhan Erkuş and Dilek Ertürk and Expert on Human Rights and Equality Fatma Sueda Tuncer.

The first meeting was held by the Committee members with national human rights institutions and non-governmental organizations on 3 June 2024. Our delegation attended the meeting and our Board Member Dilek Ertürk made a presentation about our Institution's activities regarding immigrants.

Following these consultations, meetings where the “Second Periodic Report of Türkiye” was evaluated, started. In this context, our institutional contributions was presented regarding the questions submitted by the Committee members regarding migrant workers at the meetings held on 3-4 June 2024.
