The Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye delegation, headed by the Board Member Atty. Fatma Çınar, conducted unannounced visit to Erzincan Closed Penal Institution for Woman as part of its National Preventive Mechanism mandate on September 18, 2025. 

During the visit, information was first obtained from the authority of the center. Afterwards the delegation made observations and examinations by interviewing those who are deprived of their liberties and the personnel in charge. As a result of visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and public.

Following the visit, as part of the courtesy meetings, our Board Member paid visits to Governor of Erzincan Assoc. Prof. Hamza Aydoğdu and Chief Public Prosecutor of Erzincan Mustafa Değerli.
