Prepared with the collaboration of HREIT and UNICEF Türkiye Office, the “National Preventive Mechanism Brochure (Simplified Version for Children)” has been published in English. The Brochure, which explains the mandates, powers, and activities of HREIT within the scope of its National Preventive Mechanism duty for children in a simple manner, aims to both inform children about their rights and support all individuals, institutions, and organizations working to protect and develop the rights of children in closed environments. It is planned that the brochure, which was previously prepared in Turkish, has been prepared in English for delivery to more people. We hope that the brochure will be disseminated by HREIT as the National Preventive Mechanism, as well as by all rights defenders who work on monitoring children's rights in closed environments.
