The Delegation of the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye conducted an unannounced visit to Üsküdar Hasan Tan Children’s Homes Site on 24.02.2025 as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate.

During the visit, information was first obtained from the authority of the institution. Afterwards the delegation made observations and examinations by interviewing those under care and protection and the personnel in charge. During the visit, the treatment and accommodation conditions of those under care and protection were examined in the context of national and international standards.

As a result of visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and public.
