Within the scope of the working visit carried out by the delegation headed by our Deputy Head, Attorney Alişan TİRYAKİ, to the Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Ombudsman's Office), a joint national prevention mechanism visit was carried out with the Ombudsman's Office to a penal institution in Sarajevo on February 27.

As part of the visit, firstly, the Penal Institution Administration was met and information about the Institution was obtained. Later, the common areas of the Institution were visited and the conditions of detention were observed. During the visit, the Panel Institution Administration and the Ombudsman's officers were informed about the work of our Institution in the context of the national prevention mechanism and the monitoring method, and experiences were shared.
