Headed by Board Member Ünal SADE, the HREIT Delegation, conducted an unannounced visit to Amasya Provincial Gendarmerie Command as part of its National Preventive Mechanism mandate on February 21, 2024. During the visit, information was first obtained from the authority of the institution. Afterwards the delegation made observations and examinations by interviewing those who are deprived of their liberties and the personnel in charge. As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
