The Head of the Department Responsible for Programming of Cooperation Projects of the Council of Europe, Mr. Schnutz Dürr, the Head of the Ankara Program Office of the Council of Europe, Mr. William Massolin, and the Horizontal Support Coordinator for the Western Balkans and Turkey of Europe, Ms. Marie-Angele Orihuela, paid a visit to our Institution. 

In the meeting held with the participation of our Chairman Prof. Dr. Muharrem Kılıç, Presidental Advisor, International Relations and Project Unit Coordinator, experts and assistant experts comprehensive information was given regarding the duties and activities of our Institution on combating discrimination and equality, protection and promotion of human rights and national prevention mechanism.

In the meeting additionally, information was exchanged about the projects carried out within the scope of the European Union/Council of Europe joint program “Horizontal Support for the Western Balkans and Türkiye” (Horizontal Support III) and future project opportunities were discussed.
