Project activities are planned to be carried out in 2024 and 2025 within the scope of the “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of National Preventive Mechanism of Türkiye through a Coordination Platform and Trainings Project” funded by the Special Fund of the Optional Protocol to the United Nations Convention against Torture (OPCAT).

In this context, on 5 November 2024, a roundtable meeting was held with representatives of public institutions, which was the first event planned within the scope of the “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of National Preventive Mechanism of Türkiye through Coordination Platform and Trainings Project”. Through this meeting, it was aimed to raise awareness on the activities of the National Preventive Mechanism.
