The HREIT Delegation, headed by the Board Member Attorney Zennure Ber, conducted an unannounced visit to İstanbul Private Ailem Disable Care Center on 3 October 2022, as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate.

During the meetings held by our Delagation consisting of psychologist and HREIT officials, information about the allegations was obtained from the Center officials. In addition, observations were made in the context of national and international standards by interviewing the residents and staff of the Center.

The judicial and administrative process regarding the allegations is ongoing and will continue to be followed by the HREIT.
