The TİHEK delegation conducted an unannounced visit to the detention facilities of the Konya Provincial Gendarmerie Command as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on 24/4/2025.

During the visit, information was first obtained from the administrative authority of the Command. The treatment and accommodation conditions of detainees were examined in accordance with national and international standards.

As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
