The HREIT Delegation headed by the Board Member Mehmet Emin GENÇ conducted an unannounced visit to Etlik City Hospital Prisoner and Detainees Ward part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on July 23, 2024. 

During the visit, information was first obtained from the authority of the institution. Afterwards the delegation made observations and examinations by interviewing those who are deprived of their liberties and the personnel in charge. 

As a result of visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and public.
