“Workshop on Law Enforcement’s Power to Use Force and Weapons” was held on 3 December 2021 at the Police Academy Gölbaşı Campus Ali Birinci Cultural Center under the coordination of the Police Academy Institute of Security Sciences, within the scope of the Human Rights Action Plan Implementation Activity Report, in 3 sessions with the topics of “The Law Enforcement’s Power to Use Force and Weapons under Human Rights Law”, “The Law Enforcement’s Power to Use Force and Weapons in the Light of National Regulations and Judicial Decisions”, “Problems Encountered in Practice and Suggestions for Solutions”.

Human Rights and Equality Experts and Assistant Experts attended the workshop representing of our Institution.

Human Rights and Equality Expert Dr. Ertuğrul Yazar, one of the experts of our institution, contributed to the workshop by making a presentation titled “The Role of Education in the Police’s Power to Use Force and Weapons: An Evaluation in Terms of Human Rights Law”.
