On 21-22 April 2025, a training was held for the staff of our Institution within the scope of the “Strengthening the National Preventive Mechanism of Türkiye Project” of the United Nations Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT) Special Fund.
The Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture (SPT) standards and the methods to be applied during visits to places where persons are deprived of their liberty or taken under protection were discussed by a member of the SPT in the course of the training.
