Within the scope of the Project for Increasing the Efficiency of Civil Monitoring Boards in line with European Standards, “Information meeting on the Monitoring Handbook of the Penitentiary Institution prepared for the Ombudsman Institution and the National Prevention Mechanism” was held online. The presentation of the Penal Institution Monitoring Handbook, also contributed by our Institution, was made by the experts of Council of Europe. At the meeting, detailed information was given about the content of the project and the activities carried out in the previous implementation period within the scope of the project.
