Unannounced Visit to Dumlu No 1 High Security Closed Penitentiary Institution: The HREIT delegation conducted an unannounced visit to Dumlu No 1 High Security Closed Penitentiary Institution as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on July 26, 2023.

As part of the visit, treatment and accommodation conditions of the detainees were examined in the context of national and international standards.

As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
