On 1-2 February 2024, Capacity Building for the Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) in the development of technologies and AI systems - Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye (HREIT) was held within the scope of the “Project on Business and Human Rights: Promoting Responsible Conduct in Türkiye” carried out by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with the support of the Government of Japan.

Within the scope of the Project, which is being implemented in 17 countries including Türkiye, information and methods on trends and challenges in artificial intelligence applications in terms of human rights, regulatory frameworks governing the use of artificial intelligence, and human rights impact assessment that should be applied in the development process of artificial intelligence systems were shared in the training organized for experts and assistant experts of the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye.
